The East Asian region accounts for 66.89% of the global textile industry's output value!

The textile and garment industry is a highly globalized one with a trillion-dollar output value. Today, the production network is dominated by Asian countries with large labor forces and large-scale manufacturing capabilities, which makes it increasingly difficult for other producers in the world, including those in Latin America, Africa and the Caribbean, to compete. Although this region is involved in the industry, none of the current top ten exporters are from this region.

According to statistical data, the East Asia region has the highest proportion in the global textile industry output value, with an output value scale of 717.7 billion US dollars, accounting for 66.89% of the global total. Secondly, there is the European region. The output value of the European textile industry is 127.6 billion US dollars, accounting for 11.89% of the global total. Southeast Asia and North America are also important global textile production markets.
