Qingdao Furuixiang Plastic Technology Co., LTD. Spunbond Nonwoven Fabric: A high-efficiency formed nonwoven fabric category!

Spunbond Nonwoven Fabric is a nonwoven fabric made through the spunbond process. It is formed in an integrated manner through continuous processes such as melt spinning, fiber web laying, and hot pressing reinforcement, using synthetic resin as raw material. It does not require the spinning and weaving steps of traditional textiles and features high production efficiency and stable structure. It has become a commonly used functional material in many fields.

From the perspective of production process, the manufacturing of spunbond nonwoven fabric involves three core steps: raw material melting, spinning and web formation, and reinforcement and shaping. Firstly, synthetic resin chips such as polypropylene and polyester are dried and then sent to the extruder, where they melt into a uniform melt at high temperatures. The melt is extruded through the micro-pores of the spinning plate to form continuous filaments, which are then stretched by high-speed gas flow to refine the fibers and maintain a certain orientation. The stretched fibers are randomly or directionally spread on the web laying machine to form a uniform fiber web. Finally, the fiber web is reinforced by hot-pressing rollers or hot air penetration, allowing the fibers to form a stable structure through thermal bonding and produce spunbond nonwoven fabric products. During the production process, the precise control of spinning temperature, air flow velocity and hot-pressing temperature directly affects the thickness uniformity and mechanical properties of non-woven fabric.

In terms of structure and performance, the advantages of Spunbond Nonwoven Fabric lie mainly in continuity and practicality. It is made of continuous long filaments interwoven, with the fibers closely combined. It has a relatively high breaking strength and tear strength, and can withstand certain tensile and friction forces. The surface is smooth and flat. The air permeability and filtration performance can be flexibly controlled by adjusting the fineness of the fibers and the density of the mesh. Meanwhile, based on the characteristics of the raw materials, spunbond nonwoven fabric also features chemical resistance (such as acid and alkali resistance), low moisture absorption, and is less prone to mold in humid environments. Moreover, it can be endowed with additional properties such as anti-static and flame retardancy through raw material modification or post-treatment as required.

In terms of application scenarios, spunbond nonwoven fabrics are suitable for the demands of multiple fields. In the field of hygiene products, it can be used as the surface layer or drainage layer of diapers and sanitary napkins, taking advantage of its breathability and softness to enhance the user experience. In the packaging field, it is suitable for the packaging of lightweight items and the production of shopping bags, ensuring packaging effects with its strength and durability. In the industrial field, it can be used as filter materials, geotextiles, and base materials for protective clothing. By adjusting its performance, it can adapt to working conditions such as filtration and protection. In the agricultural field, it can also be used as a covering cloth or seedling cloth, taking advantage of its breathability and weather resistance.

With the development of nonwoven fabric technology, spunbond nonwoven fabrics are also upgrading towards refinement and multi-functionality. By developing ultra-fine fiber spunbonding processes to enhance the softness and filtration accuracy of materials, or by using multi-raw material blend spinning to achieve complementary performance, it can better adapt to high-end hygiene products, medical protection and other niche scenarios, providing more diverse material solutions for the nonwoven fabric industry.
